About manure solid-liquid separators
A separator splits slurry into a drier solid fraction and a liquid fraction. Both still need somewhere to go — composting, field use, biogas or treatment — so the separator is planned with those steps. Solids content, throughput and wear parts decide the model.
Common configurations
Screw press separators
Press the solids against a screen.
Screen separators
Static or moving screens.
Other separators
Chosen to suit the slurry.
