About pig farm renovation & expansion
An older farm can often produce better without being rebuilt. We survey the existing houses, manure pits, water, power and controls, decide what stays and what is replaced, and plan the work section by section with temporary water and power, so empty rooms are back in production as soon as possible.
Common configurations
Partial replacement
New pens, feeders or fans in existing rooms.
House renovation
New envelope, floors and systems in an old shell.
System upgrades and expansion
New controls, feeding or houses added to a running farm.
Selection checklist
Before we send a layout or quotation, we confirm these points with you.
| Point to confirm | Why we ask |
|---|---|
| Current drawings and measurements | Old drawings rarely match what was built. |
| What stays and what is replaced | Sets the scope and the budget. |
| Production stop window | Which rooms can be empty, and for how long. |
| Temporary water and power | Keeps the rest of the farm running. |
| Old and new controls | Interfaces between existing and new systems. |
| Acceptance and restart | When a room is handed back to production. |
Dimensions, materials and quantities are confirmed for each project.
Scope of supply
| Usually in the package | Agreed in each contract |
|---|---|
| Site layout, production flow and house layout | Site survey, soil investigation and detailed local design |
| Equipment plan for each house | Permits and approvals |
| Steel structure, roof and wall envelope, doors and windows | Foundations, civil works and on-site lifting |
