About chain-disc feeding systems
In a chain-disc system, discs fixed to a chain drag feed through a closed pipe loop. Corners let one loop serve several rows or rooms, and outlets feed troughs or dosers along the way. Loop length, corners, drive tension and protection against blockages are planned for each house.
Common configurations
Pipe sizes and corners
For different capacities and layouts.
Zoned loops
Separate circuits for rooms or stages.
With dosers
Volumetric drops for sows.
