About loading ramps & pig handling alleys

Moving pigs is where staff and animals are most at risk, and where the clean and dirty sides of a farm meet. Alleys, gates and ramps need non-slip floors, a gentle slope, solid sides and a clear boundary at the truck. We plan them with the house layout and the vehicles that will collect your pigs.

Common configurations

Fixed or mobile ramps

Built-in loading bays or movable ramps.

Guide gates

Swing and sliding gates to steer groups.

Transfer alleys

Corridors linking houses and stages.
