About automatic pig sorting stations
In large finishing pens, a sorting station weighs each pig as it passes and opens the gate to the right area — for example a feeding zone or a pen ready for loading. The pen layout must keep pig traffic flowing, and the station needs a plan for power failure, cleaning and data.
