About electronic sow feeding stations

An electronic sow feeding station identifies each sow by her ear tag and releases the ration set for her, so group-housed sows can still be fed individually. The station must fit the pen layout and the sow flow, and it relies on tags, software and a plan for power or network failure.

Common configurations

Forward or return exit

Sows leave ahead or back the way they came.

Identification and control

Different readers and dosing mechanisms.
