About weaner (nursery) pens
Weaning is a stressful change, so nursery pens must be warm, dry and easy to keep clean. Partitions, slatted floors, feeders, drinkers and local heat are planned together, by group size and piglet weight. Pens are also laid out for fast washing between batches.
