About personnel hygiene entries
People are one of the main ways disease reaches pigs. A hygiene entry arranges changing, hand washing and boot cleaning in a one-way route from the dirty side to the clean side. A single machine is not a biosecurity system — the entry works with the farm’s rules and daily discipline.
